An Android version is definitely on our roadmap, with high priority. Stay tuned (hack, hack hack)…

Allow commitments to be recurring.
If I go to the gym every Wednesday I don't want to have to enter it in each and every time. You should have the option to repeat weekly or monthly etc.
30 votesWe’re definitely going to implement recurring events. A must-have. Thx for the suggestion.

Allow the user to modify the location range.
I live on campus at college and my library is within the location range / margin of error when I'm in my dorm room. :( iPhones can pinpoint location with GPS down to 10m, so could something more precise be a default or other option? Maybe a click and drag to make the range wider or narrower.
7 votesThanks for the feedback! An option for the radius of the target zone seems to be a great idea, we’ll put that on our feature roadmap. Quick fix in the meantime: simply push the target area further away from your dorm, so that it still includes the library, but not the dorm. This way you’ll have to get up to complete your commitment! Best, your getupp team.

Thanks for the idea. We are definitely working on a mechanism that allows our users to reschedule their commitments. It is quite a problem though, since we have to balance the benefits of flexibility with benefits of strong irreversible commitments. What do you think about a wildcard that every user can use in a given period (eg month)?

Thank you very much, that’s definitely a planned one! More generally, we’re currently working very hard on making commitments more social, so the ability to join a friend’s commitment is definitely a must!

Add a time-duration option
Some commitments (like studying, working out, etc.) require time to complete. I think it would be great if we had the option to set the amount of time we want to accomplish a task.
A timer would start when we check in for the commitment; the commitment would be fulfilled at the end of the allotted time, instead of immediately upon check in.5 votes -
have the app automatically check in once you are in range, instead of having to do it manually
Is it possible to have the app check you in and complete the commitment once you are in range? This way, if you forget to manually do this, it won't post a fail (this happened to me haha!)

make choice of locations for commitments optional
many tasks are not associated with locations, e.g. work could be submitted per email from home or any Starbucks. However, I usually do not know where I will be in advance so it's difficult to lock a location.
4 votesNeat idea. Making commitments more flexible and sophisticated is something that we’re definitely working on, especially moving beyond the location a as the sole verification mehtod. Stay tuned.

Thx for your comment. That’s definitely a planned one. We want to integrate different social networks, and provide more flexible means of outcome sharing (eg emails, text messages asf).

Edit commmitments
can you make the commitment editable? In case location changes or time changes? Then you don't have all these FAIL attempts, but can actually change the one you have scheduled? And edit location too ... that would be very helpful

Wiederholende Ereinisse ...
Es wäre super, wenn wiederkehrende Ereignisse auch so eingegeben werden könnten. Dann bräuchte man ein wiederholdendes Ereigniss nur einmal anlegen! Ansonsten super!

Why dont integrate this to some todo program?
This might be better if it is integrated to some todo app. User will not have to create seperate todo list for this.
1 voteThat’s a great idea! Problem ist that the market for todo apps is very fragmented. What are you using?
